Designed by the renowned architect João Pedro Falcão de Campos, this modern house pays homage to traditional Alentejo houses with white walls, gable roofs and Estremoz marble stone. The minimalist and Mediterranean architecture is dominated by strong lines, creating a bold effect in the natural environment that makes up the hippie-chic Comporta.
The house is on the border between the green flood plain and the white sandy dune. It seats on a sandy hill and lets the natural dune pass through under it.
On the north side, we have privileged framed views over the floodplains and sunset.
On the south side, the house opens to a private and protected sunny deck space that connects to the heated 12-meter-long pool surrounded by a sandy garden with pine trees.
Inside, the white walls and floors create a neutral palette, with the addition of wood and textiles with Portuguese tradition.
All three suites enjoy privileged sunset views through a large window and access to a suspended north deck. The relaxing natural views and sound of the ocean make it the perfect place to hang out or read a book. The larger bedroom has an in-room bathtub overlooking spectacular ocean sunsets and extended views to the Serra da Arrábida coastline
The house has a kitchen that features a large cooking island made in Estremoz marble stone, a living room, an interior dining room and a nearby rustic table beneath a vine-clad pergola for enjoying meals outside.

COMPORTA
Located in the sunny Comporta, 1h15 south of Lisbon, the rural surroundings and 5min walk to Pego Beach and Carvalhal village make the Pura Comporta a perfect destination for a holiday with family, children and friends.
Comporta was once a great land of crops, where many farmers and fishermen lived. Today, these lands are mainly used for rice cultivation and are home to incredible fauna and flora. The atmosphere is calm and conducive to rest, only the snaps of storks’ beaks the silence of these places.
Comporta is a praise for slowness with its magnificent landscapes, miles and miles of empty white sandy beaches, pine trees forest planted in the sand and birds on the rice fields.
Pura Comporta house can accommodate up to 7 people, with all amenities, services and many advised local activeties is a wonderful way to enjoy the peace of mind of this place.
ACTIVITIES
The house is located in Pego Beach, Comporta, known for the sandy beaches, rice fields and fresh fish, there are many attractions to make it a perfect destination for a holiday with friends or family.
Near the natural reserve of the River Sado, which is home to a great variety of wildlife such as flamingos, storks and dolphins. It is also one of the best places in Portugal for bird and dolphin watching.
HORSE RIDING
An experienced instructor guides you on a horse-back riding tour through the dunes, ricefields, on the beach and in the ocean. They also rent bikes and kayaks to explore the area in another sportive way.
YOGA
Yoga and meditation at the rice fields at Yoga Shala.
BIRD WATCHING
Boat trip along the Sado estuary to watch flamingos and other species.
DOLPHIN WATCHING

ROMAN RUINS
A peninsula with history. Discover the Acala island and travel back in time to the ruins of the largest center of fish-salting industry known from the Roman Empire, occupied until the 6th.
SURF IN COMPORTA
Imagine Surf School is located in Praia do Pego and the team is like a family where you learn to surf and respect nature, with the best knowledge of the coast. The ideal place to take surf lessons is in group or private.
